Education

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2.15)

We place great importance on the biblical education of our children. The church faces uncertainty without properly educating our children in God’s word, and we see contemplative Bible teaching as a way to grow the church in strength both locally and throughout the world.

Bible classes are scheduled for Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Caring Christian men and women teach our children the stories, precepts, and commands of the Bible. Bible Study for All Ages is the curriculum used for Bible class through grade 12.

Bible classes are available for all ages. Sunday morning offers three adult Bible class choices: auditorium, annex, and young adult. On Wednesday evening there are four adult Bible class choices: auditorium, annex, young adult and ladies. The ongoing growth of adults in the word of God is a priority of the education ministry. This work of the congregation is supported by mature Christians and their understanding of God’s word.

In addition to our regular Bible classes, we also have some additional education programs, including Thursday Bible School, Vacation Bible School, and Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes.
