Quilting Ladies

For several years, many of the ladies of the Farmington Church of Christ have met each month to put their talents to work making quilts for those who are in need. Over the years, some 1,500 quilts have been given to various recipients, including:

The Children’s House in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Children’s Home in Honduras
Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas
Children’s Home in Paragould, Arkansas
Gravette Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas
Human Development Center in Booneville, Arkansas
Elizabeth Richardson Center Preschool in Springdale, Arkansas
Victims of house fires
Newly-married couples

This group of ladies meets on the second Tuesday of each month, and in addition to working on quilts, enjoy a time of fellowship with one another and share a potluck lunch as well.
